Where is the best place to get free web site hosting?
I want to make my own website, but I want to start small and experimental. I want to use a free web site host but their are many to choose from. Which is the best place to use, particularly if you want to create a professional looking site?
I know free sites arent totally professional, but I just want something to play with and start with, but nothing silly.

however most free host website put a limit to how much internet traffic a site can have, number of pages, etc, etc.
however the site i gave you should cater for your needs if your not looking for something that needs a lot of specifications
side note: if you want to make it look really professional, you should either learn how web design or else hire a web designer.
If you want a professional looking site, learn to create professional looking sites. Sites created with website-building programs don’t look professional. (It’s not something you can do in a week, but if you want to do it right, you’ll put in the time.) You’ll need to learn HTML and CSS, graphic design, computer programming, Javascript, PHP and SQL to start.
As far as a site to play on, download XAMPP and install it on your computer. The site’s address will be http://localhost/ It’s your computer, so it’s free and you can put anything on it that you like, or tear it down or screw it up. Nop one will know but you, until you’re ready to get a free subdomain name and show it to the world.
Free webhosting is not stable. You may face on data lost, privacy problem with freehostings.
