   I am not quite sure I understand your question : when you say "web server" are you referring to hardware (the actual server box) or are you referring to the software that actually makes a box a web server?

   If you are talking about hardware, any box can be set up to be a web server, as long as it has internet connectivity, and enough CPU power and RAM.

   If you are talking about software, then the answer(s) would be Apache Tomcat (for JSP) and any Windows OS (from XP on) that has IIS on it (for ASP.NET).

   The other things you refer to - PERL, PHP, and Python are languages whic can be run on the Apache platform. MySQL is a database product.

   Now, if you are referring to hosting companies, I would think GoDaddy, and all of the major ones would support all of those technologies.

   I would think that most web hosting companies provide this now.

   As for a specific web server, Apache is a web service that can run on any platform. IIS is also a web service, but that one is limited to Windows servers I believe.
   And I can’t think of many operating systems that don’t have the ability to run a web service.

   Your question is asking about three different things. First, some of the items you list have to be supported by or available on your host to be used by you, like MySQL databases, Python, PHP (and which versions) Pearl scripting. Second, Apache refers to the software "running" the server, and as long as its a Unix server (not Windows!), I think that’s pretty irrelevant. Third, ASP.NET and ASP classic refer to a way of coding, basically for forms and such, and should be supported by just about anybody.
