I intend to create a Word-press site for my small business and I need hosting. What sort of things should I be looking out for - some of these offers seem too good to be true like £2 per month and unlimited space and broadband. I notice some mention spam guard and others don’t - how does this work?
Thanks

I have a small business doing graphics on the side. I made ,000 in the last quarter of the year when I opened officially. I spent about on stock artwork and /month on web hosting + cost of domain. I didn’t buy anything I can depreciate. I have a wife and a 1 year old. We both work… I have a full time job and my wife has 2 part times. Thank you.
What provider would offer the following for a small business in one package / bill ? Preferably Turnkey.
Domain registration
Data hosting
domain email
Visa/MC transactions at reasonable rate
Web design template starter kit would be a plus.
You must have url links to the business in question you are recommending to be chosen as a winner for this question.
Thanks!
I’ve searched Yahoo re: web hosting, all I can find are links to Yahoo Small Business. I’m not running a business, I only want to host a few web pages and be able to share photos (via linking) on various servers.
My experience with Yahoo’s Geocities is that it doesn’t allow remote linking. Can I migrate the web pages I have on Earthlink (my old ISP) to my att.net or Yahoo accounts? Is there some other Yahoo service that allows some free hosting space, enough to construct a few pages and that allows remote linking?
Thanks
Iam starting my own small business and Iam wanting to create my own domain or website for the company. Who offers the best all around pages.
Things I consider: Price, professional looking page, Ease of use, and getting traffic.
anyone who has great luck with a host let me know. I know of godaddy, yahoo, intuit, and a few more.
I created a website for my wife’s small business using Webzpro for .95 a month. The price is excellent for all they give you. Unfortunately I have a difficult time using the RV Site Builder program they provide. I’m looking low-priced web hosting service that uses a click and drag type program, but also still gives you a lot of storage space, bandwidth, at least 10 web pages, etc.
I am looking to get a domain name and web hosting for the site i built. It is for my PC repair business. Its a small business so i don’t need anything extravagant or anything that will not be worth the cost. I check out go daddy for the domain and they seemed reasonable but the web hosting was pretty expensive. Any suggestions?
I need a simple yet professional website for a small business. One that offers features that allow paypal and other things optimal for business success. Not looking to pay anything, not even a small fee. Also, not looking for the cheapo unprofessional sites which add their domain name in with mine in the address box. Any suggestions very much appreciated on free reputed web hosting!
I found that in yahoo small business for domain registration they have offered .95 yearly. I want to know whether this offer includes web hosting or I have to pay separately for web hosting?
1and1.com or 101hosting.com?
Or any other inexpensive recommendations out there for web-hosting and domain registration? I’m starting up a small business.
Also, are every web-hosting websites compatible with dreamweaver (CS3) creations?
