I got two domain names (both belong/point to same website - its a personal website, NOT a commercial website). Both names are currently hosted by Startlogic (hosting company). They gona exprie soon. I don’t want to see my domain name expire, nor I want see my site go off the web.

What/Where the best "DEAL" hosting firm on the net for RENEWAL of both of my domain names’ registeration, and hosting of website (for 5 years term). It has to be a reliable/good hosting company. Thank you.
Since my ‘mini’ website is just 3 pages in total (as I say it is personal…may enlarge it later), I just came across an offer by VERIO of .95/year inclusive of domain name registeration/hosting (for 3 page websites)! Five years = only!! Isn’t this good deal on Verio OR not!

I have these killer Ideas and great names already to start my own company. BUT I don’t know were to start I see that there is a lot of competences to start a company like GoDaddy which is a domain and hosting company. Now the Market share for the company is very big to make my company successful and for my first company i don"t think i should go into the domain registration industry. I have designed HTML web pages, how am I going to publish my web pages? We have reserved the domain name. What I know is either we have our own server, running IIS, Apache or whatever… or we have to find a company to host it for us. Is my understanding is right? What hosting company is good, ValueWeb, Dotster, or even Yahoo?
After we host it, is it going to be searchable on Yahoo or Google?

After a year and a half of hosting a CGI based database site with a shared hosting company, resulting in occasional server overloads and web site shutdowns, it’s obvious that I need to change my hosting plan. My former hosting company says that the CGI scripts are causing the overloads. Would a VPS hosting plan be a good alternative for me? Does anyone know any good, reliable VPS hosting companies?
