free templates already made to use

I saw a site before and it was really neat!, but i dont remember it! it even had a pop up like tutorial that led you through it all…it was very easy to use, and awesome! anyone know how to get one simular? all i need is one page! lol

I guess what I want to ask is this: Can I create a web page on my computer using a program like note pad(i know how to do that) and then do something to link it to the web so it can be viewed by different people and computers? Or do I have to work through a web site host?

I’m getting a domain and need web hosting. Who has good hosting that I can get for free? Do they have FTP storage?

Recently I have become interested in trying to make my own website. Whithout knowing how anything works I just bought a domain name and have no idea what to do. I just wanna know why, why does registering a domain name ( .com, .net etc ) cost like 60 bucks a year ( USD41.67 )?

And about their web host it cost like a month and they give very limited bandwidth and web space, the worst of it some even wants you to pay like bucks for PHP and additional for 1 sql database?

Why can’t singapore web host be like yahoo or something? unlimited web space, bandwidth, domain database… whatever

I have the correct <object> tags, I have an flvplayer.swf file, but the video still won’t play. Does it depend on my server?

The current free web hosting site (webs.com) only gives 100Mb of bandwitch.

I understand that there is no decent free web host out there but I am looking for something just as a personal website. Nothing much. I know how to design websites quite well but not looking to pay just yet. I used to use Freewebs a while ago but I’ve heard it’s going downhill pretty fast. If anyone can help I’d appreciate it!
