I want to experiment with creating a site using Joomla, so I’m looking for a free web host that would allow me to install Joomla 1.5 easily. I’d prefer a host that does not require banner ads or anything like that. Does anyone know of a decent one?

I am very new at this whole website thing. I was wanting to start my own website and I’ve heard of websites charging you a monthly fee and a cost per click fee. I’ve read all there is to read on yahoo domain and web hosting and it says nowhere in there about cost per click. But I was just wondering if anyone has tried it and what all the hidden cost were including the cost per click, if they have one?? Any answers will be helpful.

I need to post some questions about hosting ASP .Net sites with hosting services. Would it be possible to make money from a web server that I have made from an old pc (running linux). Will this server be reliable and be able to hold several web sites….
